Wow, this new editor is really cool. It comes too late for me, though.

I am going to shut down this site. I am getting more and more tired of Xanga. It was a very good introduction to blogging, but now that I am a Web Application Developer and can do all my own coding, Xanga is just too restrictive. Besides, I don't like the format any more. If you want to get to know me, talk to me.

My new blog is: Relfection Pool

I don't really talk about my personal life much. It's more of a place for me to vent since I am trying to give up the Wittenberg Floor (and doing a poor job at it since I just posted last night and again today).

Anyways, as the Italians () would say, ciao!

This blog is pretty much done with. I haven't updated in a while and I probably won't update much more anymore. There are basically two reasons:

1. I've outgrown Xanga. It was cool because I didn't have to think about the technical details. Now that I'm a web programmer, however, I want more control over the look and feel of my blog.

2. My life isn't all that interesting. I don't want to write about day to day occurances. I'm not getting rid of this blog, so I'll update when big stuff happens (I want to keep friends and family informed, afterall), but the day to day stuff isn't going up here anymore.

So I have a new blog. Maybe I'll post the address soon. Still trying to decide if I want everyone to read it or only a few invited guests. It will contain more or less ramblings of mine on all kinds of things I wonder about. Gender Roles, Drilling in Alaska, Muslim nations, Christianity in America, that kind of stuff.

As the French would say, ciao (which either means "Food" or "Goodbye"... not sure which).

It is late, but after laying in bed for two hours and being unable to sleep, I decided to get up, stretch my legs, and try again in a short while.

So, I'm missing Charis already. Not as much as I'm sure I will before this vacation is over, but I still miss her.

Going home tomorrow (today).

Kristin and Zach just walked in. It's nice to see them together... Zach seems really happy. :)

I have rarely posted something on here that I posted on the Wittenberg Floor (one of Covenant College's online discussion forums), but I'm a little proud of my last post, so I'm going to go ahead and post it.

Intense ignorance inflames uninspired illusions of intelligence
And a rampage of rapid replies result in ridiculous repetition.
Crazy conceptions of candor corrupt correct discourse
And beneficial beatitudes take back-seat to boisterous banality.
Pretentious speeches preclude posting precise, patient replies,
Demonstrating declining regard for deep discussions.
E-gangs begin to group and ongoing griping degrades into gregarious gossip.
A venue for voracious venting vindicates none... victims all.
Lusty long-lasting lectures, languishing in love or learning.
How I hoped harrowing harebrained hubris might halt;
That's too tough, I take it, so tomfoolery takes its toll instead.

Give in
Give up
Give over
Be devoured...

The Floor has you now.

I used to have a lot to say on here, but I just don't feel like talking about my life these days.

Here's a quote to ponder.

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.
